Deacon Richard Williams passes away

We are sad to announce that our beloved Deacon Richard Earl Williams went home to be with Jesus on May 23, 2020. Graveside services were conducted by our own Apostle Elbert Brown on May 30, 2020 at Haven Rest Cemetery. Deacon Williams was a huge part of the Restoration Church family and his legacy will live on.


Richard Earl Williams, 62, of Grenada passed away on May 23, 2020.

He was born to Roland and Geneva Williams on Nov. 24, 1957. He was a caring, good-hearted man of God who had the ability to make everyone feel special. His community will remember his dedication to helping others and services as a CNA. He was a member of Restoration Church of Deliverance International, Tucker, Ga., and Bethel Cathedral, Grenada.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents and brother Roy D. Williams. Left behind to cherish his memories are daughters Tashima Davidson (James) of  Eupora and Khadijah Williams of Lawrenceville, Ga.; spouse Deborah Williams of Marina, Calif.; five sisters, Joyce Williams of Maricopa, Ariz., Verble Alexander (Willie) of Atlanta, Sidney O’Bannon and Brenda Odimba (Joel), both of Tacoma,Wash., and Anna Johnson (Charles) of Grenada; five brothers Gary Williams of Little Rock, Roland Williams of Tacoma, Freddie Earl Booker of St. Louis, Charles Williams (Jo) and Windol Williams, both of Grenada; five granddaughters Bri’Ana, My’Kya, Ja’Mya and Makayla Davidson, all of Eupora, and Reighlen Williams of Lawrenceville, Ga.; special niece Genesia Lewis of Grenada and a host of nieces and nephews.
